Raydian Gives Back
Raydian donated a printer to the Kloof and Highway SPCA to enable them to carry on with the incredible work they do.
We received the following message back from Barbara Patrick and would like to really encourage everyone to assist them in the great work they are doing in the community.
With every kind and generous donation, our SPCA is empowered to continue with the important work of caring for animals in distress. No matter how small, every contribution makes a difference and we are so grateful that you have chosen our SPCA as a worthwhile cause to support.
The management, staff, committee and volunteers of the Kloof and Highway SPCA extend our most sincere thanks and appreciation for your kind donation of a new printer for our clinic, and we would like to encourage you to continue with your support which directly impacts the lives of animals every day.
The Kloof and Highway SPCA provide services to an extremely large community from the Westville boundary through to Cato Ridge and all areas in between which includes vast rural communities in order to fulfil our responsibility in the protection of animals and to prevent cruelty, neglect and suffering. We could not do this without your support.
Our SPCA does not benefit from Government funding and so the task of generating sufficient income remains challenging, especially since the demands for our services escalates every year.
Providing the best possible care for the animals at our SPCA is always a priority and during the past few years we have undergone several projects to improve the facilities and provide the daily enrichment every animal deserves. Some examples of these are the new Puppy Run, Highbury Haven for our birds and farm animals, Socialisation Runs, Kitten Cattery, Adult Cattery and currently we are renovating the clinic facilities. The success of these projects depends entirely on the support we receive from our community.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to visit our SPCA to see the improvements for yourself as this is what you have contributed towards. Our SPCA is your SPCA and we trust that you will continue to support the many animals that come into our care every month as well as the many animals we reach out to through our outreach clinics.
