Printer Consumables for Sale: How to Reduce Monthly Costs
Of course, the best way to save on the cost of printer consumables for sale is to include the cost of consumables in your monthly lease contract when renting a multifunctional device from us. If you own a printer outside the lease contract, consider a service and maintenance agreement. This can be for any of the multifunctional devices we offer for sale or for your existing machines.
We offer an extensive range of quality printer consumables for sale. This includes parts for all major print models, toner, ink cartridges, and drums. In addition, we offer photo paper, normal A4 bond paper, gloss paper, and A3 paper to name only a few of the consumables for sale.
Because we want you to save on the monthly operating costs, we share a few tips on how to reduce your monthly spending on print products. Doing so will allow you to get more value for your money without having to search for suppliers offering consumables for sale at special prices, since specials normally run for a limited time.
Print in Duplex
We offer multifunctional printers for sale that can print in duplex. This means you can print on both sides of the paper. If you already have a printer, enable the duplex functionality. You will be able to reduce the number of sheets used per month. Where possible, set duplex printing as default in the dashboard. It counts amongst the easiest ways to reduce the monthly spending on consumables.
Replace Old Machines or Rotate Devices
Some printers are used more often than others, even the multifunctional devices. This means these devices reach the end of their life cycles quicker than other devices in the office. Old machines require more maintenance and often use more ink. You can even expect streaks on the prints. Ask our consultants to assess your devices to determine which ones require refurbishment or must be replaced. They will also help you prolong the lifetime of the machines through proper rotation management. With this method, machines are swapped with the machines in the least used areas of the building. A rotation plan can be created, helping to reduce pressure on particular machines.
Default Settings
Create a policy for only using black and white print settings for in-house prints and copies. Draft copies should be printed in black and white. Train staff members to use the print preview settings on their computers to see how prints will look before sending print jobs to the printers. With such, you save on ink and paper. In addition, the copiers don’t work more than needed.
Deploy Pull Print Policies
Many employees simply send jobs to the printing devices directly and sometimes not even intentionally. By implementing a pull print policy your company can save considerably on print costs. With such, the print jobs are divided into two parts. The first entails the clicking of the print button, and the second is the execution of the print job. For this, you need to set the multifunctional device for the two-step process. One major benefit is that the print jobs are scheduled, and the risk of print jobs being left in the tray is reduced. You save on consumables and energy when using this method.
